Course OVERVIEW

The devolved decision-making to Combined Authorities, City Regions or Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) has provided greater opportunities of investing in transport infrastructure projects in order to enhance regeneration benefits and unlock economic growth in the local areas. Since then more innovative opportunities of financing transport infrastructure projects have emerged from working in partnership with businesses, developers and other public sector organisations. 


At this one-day course you will explore how transport infrastructure projects contribute to the local, regional and national economy. Also you will learn how the Local Growth Fund has helped to reduce poverty across LEP areas in England.
